On Sunday, June 23, 2024, the Saguache County Museum hosted an adobe brick making demonstration organized by the Town of Saguache Historic Preservation Commission, in partnership with Heart of Saguache. This free event offered a hands-on experience for attendees. Participants learned the traditional techniques of adobe brick making, a craft deeply rooted in Saguache’s architectural history. This interactive event not only showcased the art of adobe brick making but also emphasized the importance of preserving our local traditions.
