A Reading with Susan Devan Harness; Author of Bitterroot: A Salish Memoir of Transracial Adoption
H.E.A.R.T OF SAGUACHE/KV AND HUJATOLLA HERITAGE FOUNDATION PRESENTS

On Friday November 4 at 6pm join HEART of Saguache/KV and Huajatolla Heritage Foundation for a Reading with Susan Devan Harness, author of Bitterroot: A Salish Memoir of Transracial Adoption.Hosted by The Range at 307 4th Street in Saguache, Colorado.


Susan Devan Harness, M.A., is a member of the Salish-Kootenai Confederated Tribes. Harness is a writer, lecturer, oral historian, and a cultural anthropologist, as well as an American Indian transracial adoptee.  In Bitterroot Susan Devan Harness traces her journey to understand the complexities and struggles of being an American Indian child adopted by a white couple and living in the rural American West. Harness will  give a presentation and read from her memoir. Refreshments will be served.  This event is free. Please email info@therangeontheinternet.com with questions.
